# WELI Event Interludes — 60–90 Second Reel Brief

## Purpose

Show an organiser what the room experiences, not simply what WELI looks like on camera. The reel should make the service feel safe, intelligent, lively and easy to place inside a serious programme.

## Version 1: source-footage requirement

The current repository contains strong still photography and a public YouTube event segment, but not a confirmed set of licensed, downloadable event video clips. Do not manufacture a fake event reel from stills and present it as live footage. Gather or approve source video first.

## Suggested structure

| Time | Content | On-screen message |
|---|---|---|
| 0–05s | Room settling / WELI entering | A live reset for rooms full of ideas |
| 05–18s | WELI inviting low-pressure participation | No forced icebreaker. No awkward spotlight. |
| 18–35s | Group rhythm, movement or response | Opening · reset · close |
| 35–50s | WELI connecting action to the event theme | Music, participation and science storytelling |
| 50–65s | Audience faces / room energy / return to programme | The room becomes available again |
| 65–80s | WELI proof and event footage | Hosted by Dr WELI · PhD ecologist · artist |
| 80–90s | CTA and contact | Request an event quote · wildwoohoo.com/event-interludes |

## Footage checklist

- Wide shot showing the room and scale
- Close shot of WELI facilitating
- Audience participation without identifiable faces unless permission is confirmed
- A quiet before/after transition
- Any approved organiser or audience reaction
- Technical setup and room context
- Clean audio or a separate music bed with usage rights

## Edit direction

Use the WildWooHoo palette: ink-night, coral, cyan and gold. Keep captions large and sparse. Avoid overclaiming outcomes. The tone should feel like a premium programme trailer, not a nightclub advertisement.

## Voiceover option

> When a day is full of ideas, attention needs somewhere to go. WELI Event Interludes are short, hosted moments of music, simple participation and science storytelling—designed to open a room, restore momentum or close a programme. No forced choreography. No generic energiser. Just a room becoming available again.

## Delivery specs

Create one 16:9 master for proposals and one 9:16 cut for social. Export captions as burned-in text and as a separate caption file where possible. Keep the final title card on screen for at least three seconds.
